EUVERSA and the University of Technology and Economics in Prešov
EUVERSA is not a new university. It is the brand under which Vysoká škola technická a ekonomická v Prešove (VŠTE), Slovakia, delivers its accredited programmes online. Students are students of VŠTE; diplomas and degrees are issued by VŠTE.
The university
A private university based at Masarykova 22, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia (Vysoká škola technická a ekonomická v Prešove, s. r. o.), a member state of the European Union. It delivers bachelor's, master's and engineer's (Ing.) programmes in economics & management and philosophy, the PhDr. rigorosum in philosophy and lifelong-learning programmes. Its programmes are listed in the register of study programmes of the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (SAAVŠ). Institutional accreditation
The university runs an internal quality-assurance system under SAAVŠ standards and delivers programmes listed in the Slovak register of study programmes.

Diplomas
Diplomas, diploma supplements and transcripts are issued by VŠTE Prešov under the Slovak Higher Education Act. Degrees follow the European Qualifications Framework (Bc. = EQF 6, Mgr./Ing. = EQF 7).

EUVERSA (European University of Applied Sciences) is the trade name of the online learning of VŠTE Prešov. The word mark has been filed as a trade mark (Czech Industrial Property Office, file O-612905). In legal and official documents the university always acts as Vysoká škola technická a ekonomická v Prešove.
