Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions

Terms for the sale of lifelong-learning programmes online. Based on draft v1.4; effective from the launch of online sales after approval by the Board of Trustees. For buyers outside Slovakia and Czechia this English version is the governing version.

Provider: Vysoká škola technická a ekonomická v Prešove, s. r. o., Masarykova 22, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia (the “university”). EUVERSA is the trade name of the university's online learning.

1. Scope

These terms govern the ordering and payment of lifelong-learning courses (micro-credential courses) and related services sold online at euversa.com. They do not apply to tuition and fees of degree programmes, which are governed by directives 24/2026 and 25/2026, nor to the fees of the rigorosum (Directive 1/2019).

2. Single-payment principle

The participant's basic payment is the course fee. The price includes access to the electronic course, assessment including the online exam, issue of the micro-credential, enrolment and recognition of credits obtained in the university's programmes, and electronic transcripts. Besides course fees, only fees expressly laid down by the Higher Education Act are charged.

3. Order and course access

Orders are placed electronically; the contract is concluded when the order is confirmed and the price paid. Course access is granted automatically without delay after the payment is credited; a confirmation and invoice are delivered electronically.

4. Payment

Prices are in euro. Payment is made through the payment gateway (cards and local payment methods) or by bank transfer. Course access requires payment in full.

5. Withdrawal and refunds

A buyer who is a consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason, provided they have not entered course content beyond the introductory (free) module; in that case the full payment is refunded. By entering course content beyond the introductory module with the buyer's express consent, the right of withdrawal lapses to the extent provided by consumer-protection law on digital content. Rigorosum fees are non-refundable (Directive 1/2019, art. 10).

6. Third-party support services

The university provides applicants and students with everything needed for admission, enrolment and study without further payments. Where the website refers to voluntary services of an independent recruitment partner, these are optional services of a separate partner, never a condition or guarantee of admission, enrolment, study, a visa or residence; the same steps can be done by the applicant alone and free of charge. Any personal or ownership link between the partner and the university is disclosed.

7. Complaints

Complaints are received at podpora@euversa.com and studijne@vste.sk and handled within 30 days. Consumers may also contact the Slovak Trade Inspection or use the EU online dispute resolution platform (ODR).

8. Final provisions

These terms are approved by the Board of Trustees of the university and published on the website. Slovak law applies. Version 1.0 – draft for legal review.
