How it works

Online study, step by step

All you need is a computer or phone and an internet connection. Teaching, consultations, exams and documents are all handled electronically.

Four steps from application to diploma

Apply online

Fill in the form, upload documents and pay. You receive the decision electronically.

Enrol and log in to Moodle

You get your login for moodle.euversa.com, the same environment for every programme.

Study at your own pace

Chapters, audio, videos, exercises, the AI tutor and tutor consultations at set times.

Online exams and your diploma

Exams by video conference or in a secure browser with identity verification. Documents issued by VŠTE.

Pay per course, study at your pace

In the English programmes you pay €149 per course (6 ECTS) and the course opens in Moodle within a minute of payment. You can start with a single micro-credential course without an admission procedure; the credits are recognised when you later enrol for the degree (application fee €25). There are no hidden fees: tuition, assessment, the online exam, the micro-credential and electronic transcripts are all included in the course price. Prices are a proposal pending approval by the Board of Trustees.

The Moodle learning environment

All study takes place on moodle.euversa.com. Every course has the same structure: the study text by chapter, summaries and audio versions, short videos, exercises with feedback, progress quizzes and a final exam. It works on a computer, tablet or phone, also on slower connections (audio and video can be downloaded in advance). Tutors are available at consultation hours by video conference directly in the course and in the course forums.

The AI tutor – what it does and does not do

Every course has an AI tutor that explains the material, answers questions about the course content and gives feedback on practice tasks. The AI tutor does not grade exams and does not decide results. Assessment that affects your grade is done by the tutor; AI may prepare supporting material. The use of AI in written work is governed by Directive 23/2026 and is declared by the student. See AI transparency.

Online exams and identity verification

Higher-weight exams take place online with identity verification under Directive 27/2026: you show an ID document to the camera, and the exam runs in a secure browser or by video conference with recording. Recordings are kept only as long as needed for a possible review and are then deleted. State examinations and thesis defences take place before a board by video conference, or in person in Prešov at the student's request.

EU Pathway

Students of the English degree programmes may, under the conditions set by VŠTE and Slovak law, complete their final year in person in Prešov, Slovakia. In-person study is optional and is not a condition of the degree. Admission to in-person study, visas and residence permits are decided by the competent Slovak authorities, not by the university; we make no promises about visas or residence. Details will be published once the programmes are accredited.
